Back in California!

Just wanted to write up a quick post so you know I am still alive! I was supposed to be in Louisiana for work this week but we had a slight emergency in the state of California so my boss begged me to fly out here instead. I flew out of Dallas on Sunday morning and have spent the week in central California. I can not wait to be home tomorrow. California is awesome and so beautiful but I am feeling extra "home-sick" this week for some reason. As I have said before, when I travel for work I always try to do some sight seeing in the evenings, eat at popular local restaurants and drive aimlessly thru the towns so I can see as much as possible. This week I have had to put in extra long days because of this emergency I am here for but I managed to get out a couple times and drive over to Monterey, Carmel and see Pebble Beach. I am IN LOVE with this part of California! This is my 2nd time here for work and my hubby and I are planning a long weekend trip back here. Here are just a few quick pictures from Pebble Beach I took on my blackberry- (better pictures coming next week when I am back in my office)

So beautiful!!

Hope yall are having a great week!! I will be back with all my missed wedding link up posts and more next week!

Ultimate Wedding Week Link Party- Before The Ceremony

It's time for the 3rd day of the Ultimate Wedding Week Link Party! Today is all about "Before The Ceremony." My bridesmaids and I stayed at the resort where our reception was. We woke up bright and early because our hair & makeup appointments were starting at 7. My bridesmaids arranged to have breakfast tacos, chick-fil-a, fruit and mimosas there for breakfast. My hair and makeup were not getting done until around 12:30 so I had all morning to relax, rest and spend time with my friends and family. I woke up feeling rested and excited and not stressed at all! We spent the day eating, getting ready and taking pictures before heading to the wedding chapel. Chris and his groomsman spent the day at a Boutique Hotel a few miles away. They had lunch and drinks on the patio at Tommy Bahama, laid out at the hotel pool and got ready before heading to the chapel at 2:30. Here are some of my favorite pictures-

I have waited for this day since I saw the very first preview for the movie while sitting in my hotel room in Park City, Utah :) If you haven't read the books you probably think all the hype over this is pretty crazy...but if you read them or see the movie, you will be hooked like the rest of us :) Hubby and I have tickets for the movie tonight...CAN.NOT.WAIT!!!!!!!!!!

What I'm Loving Wednesday...on Thursday :)

I didn't get a chance to post this yesterday so here it is now!

I am loving that hubby and I are going to see Hunger Games tomorrow night!! I bought our tickets 3 weeks ago...I don't think I have ever been so excited about a movie in my entire life!

I am loving our pool!!! It should be ready in about 3 weeks...just in time for Spring & Summer! The 2nd picture is the flagstone, stamped concrete and tile we chose for the pool and the little round stone is the color of the bottom of the pool!

I am loving the new rugs we just got yesterday!! We got them from Home Depot, of all places. If you have a really good Home Depot where you live, they have awesome rugs...or check online! There are hundreds!

I am loving that we are headed to Dallas for the weekend to help host a "Stock The Bar" couple's shower for some of our best friends, Chance & Laura. They are tying the knot in Dallas on April 21st!

Ultimate Wedding Week Link Party- The Rehearsal

Well, unfortunately I don't have any professional pictures from our rehearsal dinner on my computer...I just have ones that some friends and family took. So, here is a look at our rehearsal & dinner! (sorry they are all mixed up!)

Our rehearsal started at 4 PM at our wedding chapel and dinner started immediately afterwards at America's in The Woodlands. We had a cocktail hour first followed by a seated dinner. After dinner and before desserts were served we had 2 slideshows... one that my friend Jenny put together of all the pictures she took when Chris proposed to me and one that Chris and I put together of pictures of us growing up and us together while we were dating.

The food was delicious and the whole night was so much fun! We loved getting to spend those few hours with our best friends, closest family and others that were involved in our wedding!

Around 9:30 I kissed and said bye to my future husband and my bridesmaids and I headed back to the resort where we were staying and where our reception was!

Such a fun and special night... :)
