Thursday Thoughts
- This is the view from my "office" today and tomorrow :) I have to work from home because of our first new home issue...our shower drain started leaking water into our master closet so workers have been here all day pretty much tearing apart our shower and closet to repair the leak and replace the carpet, sheet rock, tile and drain. And on another note- our pool is DONE!! We still have to get the waterfall working, landscape & sod done and our fire pit finished but the actual pool is finished! Yippy! Can't wait to spend many, many hours in it!
- Here is what our shower looks like right now. Thankfully since this is a brand new home we are still under the builder's warranty! This could have been VERY expensive.
- I made Lemon Poppysead Muffins for us and shared with our builders and some of the workers here. They sure made my house smell yummy!
- I am in love with my new wedges from Express!! I have the perfect sundresses to wear these with!
- We are heading to Ft. Worth tomorrow for the wedding festivites for some of our best friends, Chance & Laura!! We are so excited to help them celebrate their big day and spend the weekend with some of our favorite people!

Ummm... I'm gonna need to come visit and spend time at that pool ASAP! Gorgeous :)
And... Let me know you're plans this weekend since you'll be in my stomping grounds! :) If ya'll have some free time, we'd love to see you guys!!! :)
Oh wow! The pool turned out amazing! How sweet of you to make muffins for the crew?
Holy cow your pool is to DIE for!!!!! Lucky girl!
Too bad you weren’t able to prevent the leak while it was still in the preliminary stage. Well, maybe it’s also a good time for some renovation, isn’t it? Some sort of change of environment. I was only glad to know the expenses were covered by the warranty. You aren’t mistaken that you would’ve spent big money on it! Just always be observant so you’d notice the littlest sign of malfunction. It would be better to prevent similar incidents in the future when they are still brewing. ;]

It's quite disappointing that your shower drain is already leaking when you're in a brand new house, right? Since the house is still under warranty, were the workers able to fix it without you spending a dime? I hope so. Because carpet and tile replacement could be very expensive. Constant maintenance could help us avoid this kind of mess. By the way, your pool looks amazing! Take care and keep the blog updated. :)

I’m sorry to hear about the damage that your shower drain leak has caused. Did you buy the house or did you build it from scratch? It’s alarming that it already had plumbing issues on the get go. Anyway, what’s done is done. Just be thankful that everything was repaired. I hope that you will never encounter such problems again.

Just got my check for $500.
Sometimes people don't believe me when I tell them about how much money you can make taking paid surveys online...
So I took a video of myself actually getting paid $500 for paid surveys to set the record straight.
